Parent Workshops

Parent Workshops

Parents are always welcome in school and we keep you regularly informed about your child’s achievements. Your child’s learning profile is available for you to review and we are happy for you to add comments about the learning you see at home.

Family assemblies are also an opportunity for you to find out what your child is learning in school and we also hold a number of parent workshops to discuss the curriculum, health concerns, community links and social and emotional development.

Progress reports on your child are sent out every year and open evenings are held twice a year so you can meet teachers, see your child’s work and discuss progress.

Our staff have planned the following workshops for the 2022-23 academic year:

EYFS Parent/carer meeting on 'Evidence Me' to share assessments and learning at home.

EYFS 'Starbooks' parent/carer open mornings for children and parents/carers to develop a love of reading.

EYFS Craft mornings to give parents/carers practical ideas about how they can develop our learners' creative and expressive art skills.

Early Reading and Phonics workshops to support parents/carers to support our learners' early reading skills at home.

Year 4 multiplication check support workshops for parents/carers.

Year 2 and Year 6 SATs support workshops for parents/carers.

We are pleased to offer the following parent/carer education and support sessions:
