The government provides additional funding to improve the provision of PE and sport across all schools. The allocation of funding is ring-fenced, meaning that it can only be spent for the soul purpose of this area in our children’s development. It is important that the money is spent so that it will have the maximum impact possible on all of the children at our school. Sometimes this may be a means of introducing them to new sports that they may then continue with outside of school as well as using the money to enhance the delivery of curriculum Physical Education.
