Context

School opened to all pupils in September 2020.  There is now a possibility that individual pupils, groups or bubbles of pupils, or potentially the whole school, will need to access their learning remotely.

Parent guidance for bubble and pupil self-isolation

In planning for remote learning, there are four possible scenarios to consider:

Scenario 1- A child or member of the household is unwell with symptoms, requiring the whole household to isolate whilst they await a test/results.

Scenario 2- A child has tested positive and the pupil must isolate for 10 days (the rest of their household for 14 days) OR a member of the child’s household has tested positive and the child must isolate for 14 days.  This also includes a child being identified as a close contact of someone outside of school and having to isolate for 14 days.

Scenario 3- A child or staff member has tested positive and, following advice from Public Health, the bubble has been requested to isolate for 14 days.

Scenario 4- There is a full school closure (Tier 4) where the majority of pupils are asked to stay at home (except for pupils of key workers and vulnerable children).
